I had 2 types of facial contouring surgery at ㄴㅈㅎ: square jaw and chin tip! Since it was a morning surgery, I went to the hospital in the morning, first listened to the explanation, changed clothes, took photos, consulted with the consultant, had a design consultation with the director, and then went into the operating room. For the design, they really do each detail the way you want. How much of the angle under the jaw to leave, how to connect it, and so on~ So I think you need to think a lot before going! I’m not good at making decisions, so it was hard for me.
I went into the operating room and lay down. I wasn’t really worried that the anesthesia wouldn’t work; I was just so scared thinking, does it start once I close my eyes?ㅠㅠ When I said, “I’m scaredㅠㅠ,” the anesthesiologist told me it was okay, and then I lost consciousness. Then they were waking me up while calling my name, and I wanted to wake up too, but I couldn’t get up. I was disoriented, and I don’t know why I cried there, but I cried by myself. They said everyone, don’t cry~~ but the tears just came out…ㅠㅠ I hated how weak I was…ㅎ Still, I tried to pull myself together as much as possible and stopped. I was lying in the hospital room, and the nurses kept coming to check my condition, and the consultant and director both came by too.
As everyone says, it was hard. Time really didn’t passㅠㅠ When I came to, I think it was around 2:30 PM? After 4 hours, I could drink some water, so it became a little more bearable. My throat hurt so much, but I endured it thinking it would end somedayㅠㅠ I’m a big whiner, haha…! I was hoping for no reason that I’d be the type who handles surgery wellㅋㅋ
As time passed, my lips swelled so much and my eyes swelled so much that I thought my swelling was really severe, but the nurse said she had been worried, yet my swelling wasn’t severe, so I was surprised! Was she worried because I had cried…? Still, I think it’s a relief!
By morning, I felt better than in the evening. I saw the director, had the blood drain removed, and the bandage was taken off too. I was really scared, but it was okay…ㅎㅎ I’m embarrassed because I’m such a scaredy-cat… The nurses took such good care of me right up until discharge, so I was really gratefulㅠㅠ My face seems to have gotten dramatically smaller!
I didn’t have a guardian and my home is in Incheon, so it was hard, but I’m back safely now!
