Would it be better to have revision surgery with an incisional method? For double eyelid surgery, I had my first surgery with incision + ptosis correction, and the revision was done as double-line removal.
After my first surgery, I heard people say I had “sausage” eyelids, so I thought about it for 10 years and it’s been 9 months since I had double-line removal. At first, the line was lowered so it seemed okay, but as the swelling went down, the scar and line started wrinkling like crazy.
I paid 3.5 million won and had it done at a famous place that most people would know by name. For reference, it’s a three-syllable name. I also developed hard little lumps, maybe scar tissue. When my eyes are open, a lot of the skin is covered so it looks somewhat better, but from the sides and from below, it’s honestly unbearable to look at. I’m so stressed that I can’t even look in the mirror, and there are many times when I can’t focus on anything else.
I want to have revision surgery by incision right away in January next year, mainly to remove the scars, recreate the line, and lower it again. What would you do if you were me? Would you do it? If I do it this time, it’ll be my 3rd surgery, so it feels really overwhelming. I’ll attach photos.
