I'm the type who worries a lot, so even before surgery I booked appointments at all the hospitals that do philtrum surgery and I think I went to consultations at 6 places. I even prepared questions, asked very thoroughly, listened to the answers, organized everything, and made my final decision to go with Mano.
Since I was already making such a fuss before surgery, I also went around telling people around me that I was getting a philtrum reduction and doing my mouth corners too,, hehe So some people may just be saying I got prettier as lip service,,, but honestly, even looking at it objectively myself, I became so much prettier that I'm really satisfied, and I definitely wanted to say that.
It's been 3 months now, and it would be a lie to say there is no scar tissue at all, but I'm recovering quickly. It gets covered without issue when I apply lip products, and even with a bare face it's almost at a level only I can see. Now that my lip shape is defined, the balance of my face is so good.
I'm really, really, really so relieved that the lower-face area I worried and agonized over the most turned out well.
Until my mid-20s, I used to think, why bother and tire yourself out, just live with the face you were born with, but after doing it, I feel like it would have been really nice if I had done this in my early 20s hehe I think it's right to become prettier even one year younger.
