After living with sausage-like eyes for 10 years, I finally made up my mind and got revision eye surgery. The director told me that we should not only focus on reducing the size of my double eyelids, but that because my eye-opening strength was weak and my upper eyelids had started to droop, the asymmetry between both eyes had become worse, so even these details needed to be carefully addressed. The surgical result, too, compared with my condition before revision eye surgery, improved not only the sausage-like eyes but also the somehow stuffy and sleepy-looking eye shape, so my overall impression changed a lot. The time I spent worrying feels like such a waste.
