Review 2 Years After Full-Body Liposuction Except the Upper Arms

Before before<57, a number I hadn’t seen since middle school, but the lower body was still chubby>After<Since I do strength training and stretching, my height is gradually increasing (I seriously hate it so much)>After<~ing I’m still losing weight, please stop growing taller > Since I was young, I’ve naturally had lower-body obesity, and because I love eating so much, I also had abdominal obesity.

Oddly, I don’t gain fat easily in my chest, upper arms, or wrists, so people around me said I didn’t look fat compared to my weight, which was almost always in the 70 kg range. That doesn’t mean there was an illusion that I looked slim. I was so fat I couldn’t even dream of ready-to-wear clothes and only wore plus-size clothes. Especially my hips!! were so big!! I could never wear pretty pants. My butt was as big as some African tribe’s, so jeans? Couldn’t even dream of them.

Then I firmly made up my mind and lost weight, about 18 kg. Once I had made the decision, it was possible. But the problem was my lower body was still chubby and I had no waist at all; my clavicles and chest area were so thin, almost like bones were showing, like I was starving.

At around 170 cm and 57 kg, that isn’t an extremely skinny weight. But if you only looked at my arms, they looked pro-ana-like, my chest was a tiny AAA cup, and if you only looked at my legs, I looked like a chubby person, so it stressed me out so muchㅡㅡ People around me also saw all my clavicle bones showing and told me to stop losing weight because I looked sick. It really wasn’t pretty at all.

After that, I repeatedly had yo-yo weight gain and lost it again, and I tried everything on YouTube that was supposedly good for lower-body obesity. No effect at all;

I made a really big decision... and got liposuction on my abdomen, love handles, lower body, and calves, excluding my arms.

I had it done exactly 2 years ago at that famous clinic in Apgujeong, and after surgery, I wasn’t exactly good about management. Because I have a big appetite, right after surgery I was 62~64 kg, and at my heaviest I was 69 kg.

What was really pathetic was spending thousands on liposuction and then piling on visceral fat hehe...

But you know liposuction suctions out even the fat cells.. Even if I gained weight the same way as before, the fat went on my upper arms and chest in a nice-looking way, so it felt really good. That absolutely!!! did not mean it was healthy though.

Anyway.. now I’m managing myself by exercising and stretching hard.

Because fat is distributed evenly all over my body, even at 61 kg I’m satisfied with my body line. Since I’m exercising alongside it too, what more is there to say? I’m satisfied.

But there’s a separate reason I wrote this post.

Things I regret after surgery:

1. Being tempted by the consultant’s words and getting calf liposuction too, even though it makes not even 1 bit of visible difference!!!!! and spending more money.. The 4 scars on the calf area from that have lasted the longest and still won’t go away.. I only got scars, and the calf muscles are the same

2. Being tempted by the consultant’s words and getting facial fat grafting It didn’t take properly, so it went back to how it was. Same thing, I only wasted money.

3. Because they removed the most fat from my thighs.. the skin on my thighs sags like loose leather, and when I sit on a chair you can see sunken areas. It’s seriously so not pretty.

4. A lumpy, uneven abdomen that I don’t think can be fixed with strength training and stretching. I’m still in the middle of dieting, so I don’t know what the result will be when I reach an aesthetic body weight, but the combination of sagging skin and surface lumpiness is really... not pretty.

Aftercare is truly important for liposuction.. If you don’t have the determination to spend money, time, and effort managing yourself intensely, I don’t recommend it..

Still, if your upper- and lower-body fat ratio is as abnormal as mine, get the surgery with the resolve to manage yourself diligently... And don’t do calves. Please don’t do calves. It’s a waste of money The scars last insanely long. It’s really true that the only way to make calves slim is to get around in a wheelchair.

This is a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
