Before/after hehe. I was hospitalized for 2 days and 1 night, so from the day of surgery I received aftercare with hyperbaric oxygen therapy and infrared light treatment. Maybe because they definitely provided post-op care from the day of surgery, it kind of felt like my recovery was fast....
Personally, the hardest thing after nose surgery was that I'm someone who absolutely can't sleep on my back even normally, so sleeping was the most uncomfortable part, and it was so hard having a blocked nose and having to breathe only through my mouth. Then once all the Silastic was removed, I could breathe through my nose to some extent, and it felt like heaven
The surgery went well without any inflammatory reaction. The line came out well too, and once I managed the scar on the columella area properly, it improved. For reference, I really had almost no nasal bridge, but I prefer a natural line, so I used a custom implant, and the surgery turned out so well to suit my image.
After functional surgery, the feeling in my nose was not so much that it was completely opened up and incredibly refreshing, but more like my quality of life improved compared with before!! These days, breathing comfortably has just become the default. It wasn't like this originally, you know
