I really feel like my case is super ambiguous, so I’m worrying a lot. For my first surgery, I had an incisional double eyelid surgery without ptosis correction, and the line ended up much lower than I wanted, so I went to a ton of clinics to look into revision surgery. For reference, I have a long midface and the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is very close. At places that mainly do eyes and focus on natural adhesion, they said natural adhesion is possible because that’s what their clinic does, but that I’d also need a little ptosis correction. They said it wouldn’t become an inner double eyelid if I did it. Epicanthoplasty/canthoplasty was a no because of the distance between my eyes, and since my eye positions are different, they said they’d make one side a bit thicker. Large hospitals all recommended incision no matter what, but some places told me not to do it because it’s only been 2 years, and sent me away saying to come back when my eyes droop more. One place recommended incision + ptosis correction, and another said if I do ptosis correction, the area between my eyes and eyebrows will look puffier, so they recommended incision + epicanthoplasty (they said if I don’t do it, it’ll become an inner double eyelid... but all the other places advised against canthoplasty/epicanthoplasty). A place opened separately by someone from a large hospital recommended natural adhesion without ptosis correction. Honestly, if I’m going to do it, incision would probably be better, but they said since it’s only been 2 years, they don’t recommend it. If I’m going to do it now, even if it loosens, they recommended doing non-incisional sutures several times and then incision when I’m older. They didn’t recommend ptosis correction. (I really like the line at this place, but they showed me a face photo of someone who had double eyelid surgery, so... that made me hesitant.) And they also said if I make the lines different because my eye positions are different, it’ll become even more asymmetrical, so they advised against it... I want one eye to be a little thicker though, and since they’re also telling me not to do ptosis correction because it’ll become an inner double eyelid, I don’t know what to do.
Which place would be right to go to? I don’t know what surgery I should get The more consultations I go to, the more ambiguous it gets.. I’m curious about everyone’s opinions. I don’t think I’ll go for any more consultations now.
