I heard that Ultherapy effects start to appear after 1 month, and that the effects are best around months 2-3. I’ll watch the changes and leave little records along the way!
I got 500 shots at ㄹㅍㅌ, and it was done under sleep anesthesia. (They were running an event where sleep anesthesia was free from 400 shots onward, so there was no separate cost.)
Same day: I opened my eyes to the sound of someone waking me up, and I was in a private care room. I was curious, so I asked them to show me a mirror. My face was flushed red, and the bruising or swelling didn’t look severe. I don’t know if it was just my imagination, but the sagging areas looked lifted and tightened. I got a pack/mask and care, then left.
Next day: Swelling started to appear. No bruising visible. I had asked them to pay attention to my jawline because there was a lot of sagging, and maybe because a lot of shots went in, the area around my jaw throbbed and hurt.
Day 2: Swelling was still there, no bruising visible. The pain got a little worse. It hurt when opening my mouth, so I became careful when eating or yawning.
Day 3: The swelling looked the worst. Bruising appeared near the jaw. There was numb, throbbing pain, but not enough to need medicine.
Day 4: No major change in swelling. The bruise got a little darker, mixed green + yellow. (It could be covered well enough with a mask or makeup, so going out wasn’t a problem.) The pain decreased a little.
Day 5 (today): The swelling has gone down a lot compared with yesterday. There isn’t much pain either. The bruise is the same, though maybe slightly reduced? I’m applying the bruise cream I got from the dermatology clinic morning and evening. There still isn’t a big before-and-after change, but it feels like the areas that were stretched because of sagging have disappeared?
It’s still before the full effects show, so I’m not sure about any clear change yet, but I feel like it will be effective for refining the facial line, so I’m looking forward to it.
