I had facial contouring surgery in 2022.6, but my loss of taste and smell still hasn’t recovered even now, 2 years later, so my quality of life has dropped. Starting two months ago, when I run, there is a clicking sound from my right ear. When I called the hospital, they kept saying it had nothing to do with the surgery, and said the director was in surgery and would call me back, but even after several days, no call came. I’m the one who feels frustrated, so in the end I called again, and they told me to come in for an appointment. When I asked if they had called, they said they probably had. At this point, I felt aftercare is important. For this hospital, once the surgery is done, that’s the end; no matter what happens after, once they get the money and do the surgery, that’s the end. The consultant just avoids responsibility without any sense of accountability. They keep saying, isn’t the taste not coming back because of COVID ㅡㅡ If COVID didn’t exist, what would they have used as an excuse.. For the ear sound, they told me to go to an ENT, so I went today, and they said there was nothing abnormal. In the end, the jaw is the problem.. My head doesn’t feel clear either, and I can’t focus on work.
