Hello! It has already been another 2 weeks since I wrote my 2-week review of three types of facial contouring (cheekbones + square jaw + chin), so now I’m at week 4 haha Now that I’m entering week 4, the first thought that comes to mind is, “Ah, plastic surgeons can save people too.” Before surgery, my self-esteem about my appearance was low because my cheekbones were larger than others’ and my jaw was angular, but even though I still have swelling, I’m extremely satisfied! Before, when I tied my hair up, my cheekbones stood out even more, so I always styled my hair to cover them, but now I feel confident that any hairstyle would suit me well haha Now that it has been one month, my facial shape is showing more than before, and I’m so grateful to Director Oh Jung-seok for making it into exactly the face shape I wanted... He definitely didn’t even sketch on the outside right before surgery, but his aesthetic sense and eye are outstanding... As time passes, I can definitely feel the shaved bones finding their place and becoming my face more naturally haha When the stitches were removed, the nurse said my teeth might feel like they were being pulled a bit more, and even now, my lower teeth feel like they are being pulled, like when I had orthodontic treatment. Sometimes when I chew, I also hear a pin sound around the cheekbone area or the tip of my chin, but it doesn’t cause any major problem in daily life haha
They said this is a temporary phenomenon caused by swelling, and that it’s right next to the ear, and once the swelling goes down... something something... They explained the principle to me, but I don’t remember lol Anyway, since they said that, I’m not too worried!
The only thing I’m a little worried about is that I had orthodontic treatment 10 years ago, and although I haven’t tried it on yet, I wonder if the retainer I used before will still fit lol Aside from things like that, I haven’t found any major downside to facial contouring surgery so far. I’m extremely satisfied!
Also, I feel so lucky to have found the hospital called The Standard of Facial Contouring haha First of all, the consultant worked so hard for me, and with the highly skilled director, kind nurses, front-desk staff, and everyone else, I really think it may be a perfect hospital!!
