Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

1-week review of two facial contouring procedures (square jaw, chin tip) at ㄴㅈㅎ

It has been one week since surgery! I had two procedures at ㄴㅈㅎ: square jaw and chin tip. After surgery, I’ve been walking for over an hour every day, and I didn’t really do cold compresses…ㅎ For about three days after surgery, I also slept with my head elevated.

The nurses told me that aside from my lip swelling, I really didn’t have much swelling! Even to me, it seems like I don’t have much swelling! After surgery, my lips swelled up a lot, so some lip swelling remains, and there is slight swelling elsewhere too, but it doesn’t interfere with daily life. Until day 3, I couldn’t really speak wellㅠ Like No-Face, I could only go “ah… ah…” but after three days, although I was a bit slurred, I could speak fine, and at one week there’s no problem at all!

On day 3, I went to the hospital, had the bandage on my chin removed, saw the director, and received swelling laser care. At one week, I visited the hospital again, saw the director, checked my progress, and received high-frequency care and swelling laser treatment! It was so good! The care is the best! Sometimes the chin tip tingles, but I think I heard it’s because sensation is coming back, so I’m waiting. My chin tip still feels like it’s not my own skin~

For food, I ate things like porridge, soft tofu, and castella! My mouth opens well and chewing isn’t too difficult, so I think I could eat regular food, but it’s so uncomfortable when food gets caught in the stitches inside my mouth that I’m eating things I can just swallow as much as possible…ㅠ I don’t have pain anymore, but the uncomfortable parts are being bothered by the stitches and brushing my teethㅠㅠ They said that once it’s been a week, I can brush with a baby toothbrush, so I tried it, and it feels a bit more livable now!!

Oh, one thing that’s a little unusual here is that the compression band is a bit different from other hospitals. They add a bandage that compresses the square jaw area and then put on the compression band, and with that included, honestly you look pretty rough…ㅎ It also gets in the way when wearing a maskㅠ But they said after a week I don’t need the bandage anymore, so I’ve taken it off now!

Also, I went to my part-time job on days 5-6, and I briefly took off the compression band while working! Since I wore a mask, it was okay for me. Still, if you can rest, I think it’s better to rest wellㅎㅎ
