This is my three-month review. It was my first surgery, and I had buried-suture surgery. Around three months, most of the swelling went down and the eyelids gradually settled to look like my own.
I had severe epicanthal folds, so upper canthoplasty was essential. I was worried my eyes might look too close together, but I don’t have that impression at all.
My double-eyelid requirements were: no forehead wrinkles, no close-set appearance, no overly wide-eyed look, and the eyes and double-eyelid line should not be far apart. I disliked not only a sausage-like eyelid but also a line that looked too dark, and it did not suit my face.
The doctor’s extra service: the asymmetry correction consultation was also extremely detailed. There is a consultation fee, but it is worth the money. The doctor moved the line by millimeters to find the line I wanted.
