It has been 1 year since I had incisional eye shape correction as revision eye surgery, along with under-eye fat repositioning and dual canthoplasty. Now that it has been a year, they feel completely like my own eyes and naturally blend into my face, should I say? And the under-eye fat repositioning, this was one of the surgeries I’m most glad I did along with the incisional eye shape correction lol My whole face feels brighter overall haha
Even though it was incisional revision eye surgery, there was less swelling than I expected! The canthoplasty was opened really cleanly too, so I only had bruising from the under-eye fat repositioning! But the under-eye fat repositioning bruises went away at the 1-month mark, so at that point I covered that area with makeup when I went out lol... If anyone is considering it, please keep this in mind! Of course, bruising will differ from person to person.. but usually.. looking at how long bruises take to fade, I think it takes about 3-4 weeks!
I had eye surgery a long time ago, but after getting double eyelid surgery, multiple eyelid folds formed, so I looked kind of dull and unfocused, and my under-eye area was also dark, making me look exhausted. Before the canthoplasty, my impression also looked slightly sharp and strong.
After surgery, the multiple eyelid folds were definitely cleaned up, and opening my eyes became more comfortable. With the dual canthoplasty, my eye shape looks softer, and since I also had under-eye fat repositioning, they worked together synergistically and even made me look younger, so I’m satisfied haha
