I had a consultation for 3 types of facial contouring surgery. Overall, I felt that the director tried to accommodate the patient a lot. It seemed like we were coordinating the desired face shape together while designing it, and he talked about why I wanted facial contouring surgery and the fundamental? aspects of facial contouring surgery. He also slowly analyzed my CT images and actual face one by one while having me look in the mirror. He explained the surgical methods suited to that, and I was also able to choose between a behind-the-ear incision or an intraoral incision. It was good that I could receive a detailed consultation slowly, without feeling rushed. I heard that here you can choose sedation/general anesthesia, but for facial contouring surgery, sedation still makes me anxious.. The director said that no one had woken up while he was performing it under sedation, but I can’t help worrying.
