I had alar reduction and nasal tip cartilage tying at a hospital famous for alar reduction around 2020. To be completely honest, I really do not recommend alar reduction. Because of the scar, I went to a dermatologist for a year and I think I spent about 1 million won.. There is still a little scar left, and my face went from having a natural nose to looking slightly like I had plastic surgery.. I do recommend nasal tip cartilage tying. Of course, it does not change dramatically compared with before. I went after seeing that my friend's alar reduction turned out really well, but scarring seems to vary from person to person, and skin characteristics are also very important. Even those who are definitely planning to get alar reduction, please think it over again...
