ㅇㅇㅍ(ㅏㅣㅣㅅ) vs ㄸㅋ(ㅐㅇㅠ) I’m torn between these two.
1. ㅇㅇㅍ Pros: It’s a one-doctor clinic with a director specializing in eyes, and they recently opened their own clinic after working somewhere else. They also seemed to provide good aftercare. They have about 17 years of experience. I’m uncomfortable with fat grafting, but even before I brought it up, they said I had enough fat volume so I didn’t need it. The price is relatively affordable. The consultant didn’t pressure me and was nice.
Cons: I can barely find any reviews Maybe because they don’t do much promotion, but I’m not sure about the director’s skill level or the average results.. I wanted to talk more about my case, so I tried to get another consultation, but there’s also a fee for a repeat consultation, and I was worried it might turn into something like a pre-surgery sketch consultation, so I’m holding off for now.
2. ㄸㅋ Pros: It felt like under-eye fat repositioning is their main focus. The explanation was extremely detailed. They said the doctor came from Objet. There are also lots of reviews. No pressure to book. They clearly tell you what can’t be done. They showed me photos similar to my eyes and said the result would look exactly like that, so I understood right away.
Cons: The doctor has 9 years of experience and got board-certified about 4-5 years ago, so it feels a bit short..? They said that to make satisfaction 100%, fat grafting would be better, but it’s optional. (Since I’m already uncomfortable with it, that worked as a con for me.) I saw people say only the directors are nice and the staff are meh, and I kind of understood why. I also see quite a few brokers and promotions for this clinic. The price is about 400,000 KRW more expensive than ㅇㅇㅍ, but if the skill is there, it’s okay.
