I had two consultations here and proceeded with surgery. They consulted kindly during the first consultation, and the second consultation was also kind and thorough. (They said they understood that I was thinking a lot about it because it was bone surgery.) First, the doctor said that they themselves had undergone advancement surgery, and they said the issues with my face that other clinics had also pointed out could probably be addressed using only my own bone without adding other materials, so I proceeded. (They said my mandible was too small, so the bone would need to be osteotomized widely. Other clinics recommended filler for the areas lacking volume.) Still, because my mandible was too small, I additionally had fat grafting. It has been about a year and a half since the surgery, and there are no nerve damage issues, but the area around my chin does feel a little numb. Even so, if I could go back, I would still have surgery here.
