Eye Surgery Considerations

Two-week review after cheekbone and square jaw surgery, how does it look?

AfterAfterAfterBeforeBeforeBeforeIt has been 2 weeks since I had cheekbone surgery, square jaw cortical osteotomy, and masseter reduction at Samsao. I had always disliked my 45-degree cheekbones and asymmetrical jaw shape, and it had been stressing me out. So while looking for facial contouring clinics, I narrowed it down to about four places and had consultations, and among them, Samsao had a price that seemed reasonable, the hospital interior was clean, and the doctor also tried to carefully understand what I wanted and listened well, so I decided on Samsao. During the consultation right before surgery too, even though I did not separately tell them exactly how I wanted it done, they first picked up well again on what I wanted, and explained well from a design perspective how the surgery was going to proceed. I was very nervous, but they reassured me well, telling me not to worry, so I could feel at ease.

Right after surgery, even with the bandage wrapped on, I could see that my cheekbones had clearly gone in, and the next day after I was discharged and took off the bandage, I could already see that the asymmetry in my jaw had been corrected too, so I thought it was really good that I did the square jaw surgery as well. After surgery, my friends say my facial line has become much softer than before. The area under my ears where the stitches were removed is also very clean now and does not seem to show much. I really like it because I feel the doctor did the surgery so well! Thank you! Maybe because it was cheekbone surgery, I have to be careful with chewing, so I still cannot eat foods that need chewing, and for now I lightly bite pieces off with my front teeth and swallow them. I hope the swelling goes down more soon and the day comes when I can eat delicious food.
