I originally had big eyes without double eyelids, but my eyelids were thin and had a lot of creases. That stressed me out so much that I used double-eyelid glue and tape, and eventually thought I should get surgery. I went to a famous clinic in Apgujeong and also to clinics where my friends had surgery… Then, almost as if I were possessed, I ended up getting surgery at a famous clinic near my home, though it wasn’t in Gangnam. I was young and didn’t know anything, so I just followed the director’s recommendation and did an incision method… As a result, my eyes were already big, but the line was large, so it looked unnatural, and anyone could see they became uneven. One side even left a sunken scar near the inner corner of the eye.. It was like that right after surgery, so I went back to the clinic, and the director said, “As you get older, your eyelids will droop”… Hearing that, I thought, ah, this doctor is not it, and left without looking back.. That director seems to be doing well now after opening a clinic in Gangnam. Seeing that there are reviews here too.. I’m so desperate for revision surgery, but I was scared and somehow lived with it, and now 15 years have passed. If apps like this had existed back then.. ㅠ I feel like cosmetic surgery inevitably leaves regrets, whether big or small.. I’m going to start researching eye revision surgery clinics diligently, even now!!
