Before surgery: Eyes with very thick upper eyelids and a narrow distance between the eyebrows and eyes
For both my first surgery and revision, I told them no matter what, please make it natural!!!!!
First surgery: At a local clinic (hope it completely goes to hell^^), incision + diagonal canthoplasty - a mix of upper canthoplasty and epicanthoplasty.. lol
Revision surgery: double-line excision + ptosis correction
You’d know if you saw my previous post, but during the revision surgery, except for about three days after surgery..? I barely had any swelling. I heard that when you lower the original line, there is almost no swelling. During my first surgery, the swelling was just not human. It was a monster itself.
Even after surgery and suture removal were all done, the inner corner of my eye kept stinging for 2 to 4 weeks. I just left it alone, but it wasn’t getting better, so I went to an ophthalmology clinic, not the place where I had surgery, and they diagnosed that an eyelash was digging in and creating a wound.. Once they removed the eyelash, it healed right away, but they said that if I had gone any later, the line could have been ruined because of swelling from this wound. Everyone, if it hurts, go to the clinic right away... (But before going to the ophthalmologist, when I went to get disinfection, the surgery clinic said it might just be because of the wound; seriously... If it feels like it hurts in a weird way, I think it’s better to go to an ophthalmology clinic rather than the place where you had surgery.)
For ptosis correction, it somehow felt like my eyes wouldn’t close properly, and for 1 to 2 weeks my forehead and glabella felt a bit stiff, so I kept massaging them After 2 weeks, like magic, everything became fine, and now my eyes close well too. The best!!
Instead of having no scar from the old line at all, maybe because it was double-line excision, it’s not completely natural-looking when I close my eyes... A little uneven? It looks more like that in the photo, but in real life, it’s only visible if you look closely from nearby. But it definitely isn’t completely natural.
For the photos, I tried to take them with as little makeup as possible, when I looked like a beast right after waking up.
I’m happy that I can live looking like a human. Long live the doctor-god.
