In the end, after doing online research, I booked consultations at 3 places and went. After obsessively researching here and there, on cafes and apps, I found that there are actually quite a lot of side effects? Sometimes I think maybe I should just keep this image while people still tell me I’m pretty, even if my under-eyes bother me, but when I look at my under-eyes, I look like I pulled all-nighters at work for a whole week, and I hate seeing it
First, ㅇㄷ- ㅇㅅㅎ They said that if I did under-eye fat repositioning plus fat grafting to the anterior cheekbones, my face would probably look smaller, and they gave me a long consultation. Since we were talking about doing fat grafting here and there, the conversation went all the way to full-face fat grafting and even a forehead lift.. lololol In the end, we wrapped up with under-eye fat repositioning + anterior cheekbone fat grafting. The doctor was very confident, saying they would absolutely do the surgery well, and was fun. The consultation order was consultant-director-consultant, and it took less than 10 minutes to wait before meeting the consultant. Since we talked a lot about various things, I think it took about 1 hour and 30 minutes from going in to coming out.
Second, ㅇㄹ- ㄱㅅㅊ He was somehow good-looking, but looked extremely tired. He gave a full explanation about under-eye fat repositioning and gently pulled my under-eye area to show what it would look like after surgery. When I said another place had recommended anterior cheekbone fat grafting, he said he didn’t think I necessarily needed it, but if I did it, my face would look smaller, so it wouldn’t be bad. He said he didn’t know whether I’d get surgery from him, but if I did, he could do it well. Here, the consultation order was director-consultant, and likewise the wait was under 10 minutes. The director was a bit quiet and didn’t make much eye contact, so I talked more with the consultant lolol. I think it took 40 minutes? until I left.
Third, ㄸㅋ-ㅇㅎㅈ I had heard the wait was really long, so I went prepared, but here too it took less than 10 minutes. The order was consultant-director-consultant, and since it was my last consultation and I went about 2 weeks after the other two hospitals, I had searched up tons of side effect cases, so my anxiety was maxed out lol But the director compared lots of before-and-after photos for me, personally pressed on my face with a cotton swab to show that after surgery it would look like this, and also explained all the possible side effects. He seems like a very meticulous type. Here too, because we talked about various things, it took about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
In the end, I did put down deposits at all 3 places, but after debating whether to get surgery or go traveling, my mind has settled on surgery... All the consultants were kind, and when I talked about maybe adding fat grafting, all three actually told me not to, so that made me trust them more too.
