It’s been 3 years since I had breast surgery at a clinic near Gangnam Station. I went to that clinic because I got a lot of information from this community before. The bruising, swelling, and pain after the surgery were definitely really manageable. But I guess getting a double line afterward can’t be helped.. I had my first surgery done with teardrop implants, and I want to strongly discourage anyone considering teardrop implants. My skin is very thin, so after getting teardrop implants, the implant edges showed through and even the implant folds showed through. The feel was hard too. So I got a revision at the same clinic. I only paid for the implant cost, and they did the revision for me. Since my breasts were basically almost nonexistent, I knew it would be impossible to make them look exactly like breasts that had never had surgery, so I went bigger for the revision. Looking back, I think it was a really good choice. My ribcage is only around 60, so I couldn’t go any bigger, and I made them as large as I possibly could. From experience, and from friends around me who had it done too, having a small implant does not mean there will be no side effects or that it won’t show at all. When I lie on my side or bend over, I can feel the implant folding slightly, but it isn’t visible to the eye, and when I had the revision they used smooth implants, which feel really good. When I just sit or stand and touch them, the feel is even better than a natural breast and you can’t tell. Anyway, what I recommend is going bigger and definitely choosing smooth implants. The massage wasn’t painful, and after the revision I had no bruising at all and barely felt any pain. The doctor operated through the armpit using an endoscope, and the technique was so good that they carefully controlled bleeding during the surgery, so there was very little bleeding or bruising. A friend saw my result and got it done too, and said the exact same thing. This doctor’s safety is definitely solid. Aside from the slight double line and the fact that the chest muscle shows a bit when I tense my arms, I’m very satisfied with the surgery. Both the shape and the feel. Since my skin was so thin, even when I went small at first, there was already some double line and slight visibility. Going bigger didn’t make a huge difference in that regard. I just wrote this because it came to mind, and I hope it helps. Oh, and the armpit area doesn’t show. They make it look exactly like a crease so it doesn’t show. And even if something goes wrong with the armpit incision, you can always get scar revision surgery, so I recommend the armpit approach. I’ve had scar surgery for other procedures too, and I got it done by this doctor; it looks amazing. If I don’t say anything, that area really doesn’t stand out. Thinking about how carefully and neatly this doctor stitches makes me really grateful.
