Before <before surgery> After <right after surgery> After <right after stitch removal> After writing my review of in-place canthoplasty, it seemed like a lot of people had the same concerns as me, so I brought another review. I’m very satisfied with the surgical progress right now.
As you can tell from the photos, before the surgery, whenever I took pictures, my eyes looked so stuffy and oddly shaped that I hated looking at them. Because of that, whenever I looked in the mirror, I always only looked at the inner corners of my eyes. By chance, I got an opportunity to take time off work, so I ended up having the surgery. I went to consultations at many places, but this hospital had a different surgical principle. However, the director’s attitude during the consultation was really, really unfriendly. The comments from people who went after seeing my review also said they felt similarly to me. The price was expensive for me too, but... I just closed my eyes and went for it. That’s how extremely stressed I was about it.
There wasn’t much swelling from the surgery itself, and during surgery, they did local anesthesia during 1 minute of sedation anesthesia. Even while I was groggy from the local anesthesia, it hurt so, so much that I felt everything and even cried. After that was over, there wasn’t any pain.
Right now, the inner corners came out exactly in the sharp shape I wanted, so I’m very satisfied. They said they would close it by 0.5 mm during surgery, and the distance between my eyes became very slightly wider, so I’m satisfied. And ㅜㅜ when I take photos, that unique stuffiness that only I knew about is finally gone. The price really is on the high side, but... I think if I invested that much and am this satisfied, then it was a success.
During the first consultation, and even with taking a consultation fee, the director was so much like a powerful ST type in MBTI: what’s possible is possible, and what’s not possible is not possible. They don’t take into account the patient’s past hurt or complexes, so everyone, don’t be hurt, and decide after getting a surgical consultation!
