Before-before after-after It’s already been 2 weeks since I had 2 types of facial contouring surgery. At ㄴㅌ, I had partial square jaw reduction for asymmetry correction and genioplasty advancement to improve a retruded chin.
For the first 3 days after surgery, I felt a lot of swelling and discomfort, so even daily life wasn’t easy. But after removing the intraoral stitches and starting to eat regular food, I felt like my recovery became faster.
The swelling in my overall face is still gradually going down, but there is still a lot of swelling left in my chin. When I wake up after sleeping, the swelling gets worse, and during the day it goes down a little; that pattern keeps repeating.
The recovery process may feel slower than expected, but I’m going to keep managing it steadily and watch the progress.
