I'm going to a Korean medicine clinic for dieting! They had a thread embedding lifting program, so I was curious and decided to try it (I had no experience with Botox, fillers, or lasers, and I had been wondering what was going on with my face lately, so I had only searched for procedures and had never actually tried one) I wanted to destroy my double chin, but as soon as they saw my face, they said my chin wasn't the important issue, and that I had nasolabial folds & slight facial asymmetry (Whoa... I had no idea at all. After hearing that, it suddenly looked really severe lol maybe it's just in my head) Nasolabial fold thread embedding (lifting) 3 sessions (3 threads each on the left and right sides) forehead thread embedding (volume) 5 sessions (for this, the doctor looked and decided the number of threads) facial rejuvenation acupuncture (if you get the acupuncture procedure also called anti-aging acupuncture, it becomes hell laser) But I didn't really search properly either (I'm originally the type who finds it bothersome and doesn't look things up much), and decided after hearing the doctor say they apply numbing cream but it will hurt, the threads dissolve, and the effect lasts 6 months to 1 year
Right now I only have 1 forehead thread embedding session left Honestly, with the nasolabial fold threads, I don't feel like it improved a lot, and my left nasolabial fold was severe but it feels like it got a little, very slightly lighter..? They said the asymmetry would improve too, but hmm, I don't really know. But I kind of like the forehead thread embedding. The volume filled in very naaaaturally. To the point where if I don't say anything, people would think it was my original forehead..? (I have a flat forehead, so I had been debating getting filler)
The downside is that the level of pain people feel may differ, but even with numbing cream, during the nasolabial fold thread embedding procedure I could really feel the threads going in, so it gave me chills and made me go ugh lol. The forehead thread embedding procedure is just bearable I had to get it at 7-10 day intervals, so that was the most annoying. It was so tedious. And my skin is originally the type that bruises easily. I have every kind of sensitivity lol. I kept living with bruises on my forehead and both cheeks. Just when I thought the bruises were finally fading, I would bruise again lol. I rarely have to take off my mask anyway, but if I happen to take it off, my face is just completely wrecked ^^ Ah! And from the day of the procedure until two days later, I couldn't open my mouth wide... On the first day I got the procedure, even eating porridge was hard ㅠㅠ (I didn't know this because the Korean medicine clinic didn't tell me either...)
So honestly it made me wonder if maybe it would be better to just finish it with surgery all at once lol. These days I'm searching like crazy and looking for a lifting clinic (If I had searched earlier, I probably would have suffered less...) I really feel like life is not easy... I think I'll probably do my face again soon with thread lifting or laser... And I'm hooked on liposuction, so I'm looking into it a lot... I just joined this community, and I hope I can learn a lot of information!!!! Let's all get prettier!!!
