Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> <Day 7 after stitch removal> <Day 7 after stitch removal> I had surgery with Director Lee Hyun-jik at Avant Plastic Surgery near Sinsa Station: 12 Mint threads + inner philtrum + outer philtrum + mouth corners + philtrum groove as a set. The photos were taken on day 7 after the stitches were removed, and now that it is day 11, the swelling has gone down much more and the bruising has become fainter. After nose surgery, my philtrum looked even longer and more prominent, so it bothered me a lot. Because I was worried about side effects and scarring, I only thought about it and researched online for about 2 years. This time, while taking leave from work, I had time and decided to just do everything I had been putting off, so I visited Avant, which is known for mouth corner and philtrum surgery. I had a consultation with the manager and then with Director Lee Hyun-jik, and I felt I could trust him to do it the way I wanted. So I did not even go anywhere else and just set a surgery date. Originally, I was only planning to do the inner philtrum, but it seemed like it might make my lips look like a Korean letter “ㅅ,” so I ended up doing the outer philtrum and mouth corners too. I was worried that mouth corner surgery would make me look like I had a Joker mouth, but I think the director made it as natural as possible without overdoing it. Since I did several procedures including inner philtrum, outer philtrum, mouth corners, and thread lifting, and because the surgery case was good, the pretty manager spoke to the director and had the philtrum groove added as a complimentary service. ^^ I am originally the type who swells and bruises easily. As expected, I really swelled and bruised so much that I cannot even describe it, but after about 5 days, the major swelling went down a lot, and the pain was just a numb, tingling feeling and was almost nonexistent. I was also very worried about scarring, but after the stitches were removed, it was lighter than I expected, so honestly I was a bit surprised. As expected, the suturing was done extremely meticulously. If it stays like this, I think if I keep applying scar ointment well and get a few scar laser treatments, it will not be noticeable. It has only been one week, so it looks unnatural because of the swelling and bruising, but I believe it will gradually get better at two weeks and one month. After about a month, it should look much more natural. I am very grateful to the manager, who gave me a detailed and kind consultation and even an additional discount, and to Director Lee Hyun-jik, who did the surgery well. I will take good care of the scars and come back to write reviews at two weeks and one month~
