I finally made up my mind to have breast surgery, something I had worried about my whole life, and went for a hospital consultation. But when they checked with ultrasound, they said filler I had gotten 5 years ago was still thereㅠ When I had the procedure, they clearly said it would dissolve in 1-2 years, but it was still there in little lumps.. I went to that hospital because they said they take lifelong responsibility for side effects, but they said because the filler was still there, they couldn’t take responsibility for side effects.. They said filler is also a foreign material, and implants are foreign materials too, so when foreign materials meet, the chance of inflammation increases.. So I decided to remove the filler first and looked for hospitals. I found a place where the consultation is directly with the director, they do only 1 surgery a day, and they have a lifelong responsibility system for side effects, so I liked it and called to ask. The manager kindly and thoroughly answered everything I asked, and even when I kept bothering her with questions in the evening, she didn’t get annoyed once and explained everything. I felt this was the place, so I immediately set a surgery date and paid the deposit. They said a guardian could check the CCTV, but I didn’t have anyone to go with me, and the director gave me confidence, saying she would support me well and not to worry, so I decided to go alone.
Surgery day When I got to the hospital, I felt like I had chosen well. It wasn’t too big or too small, it was clean, and it was exactly the kind of hospital I wanted. I changed clothes, and the first thing was the ultrasound. The director was incredibly meticulous. Maybe he looked carefully because of the filler, but he checked very precisely. Since I hadn’t had a consultation in advance, the director had told me to come in saying they would prioritize only filler removal, but after seeing the ultrasound, he said my chest muscles were very strong, so implants could be placed. He said they were like an athlete’s muscles.. even though I don’t exercise.. Anyway, I was finally going to get volume. Also, my filler wasn’t Aqua Filling filler, so I was able to do it at a lower cost. So I thought I might as well do abdominal liposuction all at once too, and said, “Please do everything!!” We did the design and I went into the operating room. But where did all my boldness from the consultation go? I was scared and shaking, so the director next to me held my hand and told me the surgery would go well. Then they put an IV in my ankle and told me to lie down in a comfortable position, so I lay down. The doctor asked, “Are you comfortable? Then the medication is going in. How do you feel now?” I said, “It smells a bit like medicine,” and then I don’t remember anythingㅋㅋ When I opened my eyes, I was lying comfortably in the recovery room. It ached a little, and then I slept again. After the surgery ended, I slept for about another hour and a half. When I had general anesthesia before, waking up was so miserable, but this was sedation anesthesia, so waking up felt totally fine, which was really nice. Once I came to my senses a bit, they gave me porridge. Everyone said it was a good porridge place and finished a bowl, but I had no appetite, so I only ate one or two spoonfuls. What a waste..ㅜ After coming home, maybe because of the anesthesia, I kept sleeping and waking up. It’s hard to lie down and get up. It’s good to have someone to help support you. Because of the filler removal, they attached a drain to remove the remaining debris? It’s so uncomfortableㅠ It gets in the way even when I go to the bathroom, and I want to take it out quickly.
