My surgery was successful. Actually, it was when COVID was severe, so I couldn’t visit every famous plastic surgery clinic in Gwangju. But each place suggested slightly different things. So before getting plastic surgery, I think it’s right to decide what you want, like incisional or non-incisional surgery, epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, etc., and then go hear the doctors’ opinions. If anyone is debating between non-incisional and incisional, I recommend incisional. Even though it’s incisional, it doesn’t really show much even when I open my eyes wide. Actually, people I met after getting double eyelid surgery have no idea I had it done. Because I never wanted natural adhesion in the first place, I excluded clinics that recommended natural adhesion from my options. There are actually many people whose lines came undone, and even after double eyelid surgery, there isn’t a dramatic change. There was one clinic that said I didn’t need ptosis correction, but since my eyes were clearly small, I wasn’t really tempted. If your eyes are already big and round, you don’t need ptosis correction, but if you have slanted eyes, the kind often called “bird-like eyes,” ptosis correction is essential.. I’ve even seen cases where, if only a line is made without ptosis correction, the impression actually becomes fiercer. Or maybe it can give a more masculine impression?
Anyway, I recommend this clinic. The doctor speaks honestly, and even though I had it done in the summer and couldn’t really walk much, after about a month the swelling had gone down a lot. They also shaped the line well! This place in Gwangju is good for plastic surgery.
