Before <donated costal cartilage visible before surgery><Day of surgery!> In 2017, I had nose surgery at a clinic near Exit 4 of Apgujeong. I had rhinoplasty. At the time, I was only planning to get double eyelid surgery, but I got talked into it by the clinic and was easily swayed, so I went ahead and got nose surgery without any fear. I didn’t know that getting nose surgery would make my nose hard and make it longer. The problem was that my columella drooped too much, and my face is round, but because my nose became too high and long in a straight line, I didn’t like how it looked. For a year, I barely met people... Because I hated how I looked in the mirror... Also, if you look at the before photo, something is protruding, right? At the previous plastic surgery clinic, they said it was scar tissue and gave me one steroid injection. You know steroid injections are really bad, right..? Scar tissue, my foot.
It was donated cartilage protruding. I found out at Cheongdam Cozy that this was donated costal cartilage. When I tried to have it removed at the place where I had my nose surgery, they told me I absolutely had to come in for a visit. They said they absolutely couldn’t tell me the cost over the phone. They said the surgical method and materials differ from person to person. Even when I told them all the materials used on me, they only kept saying I had to come in no matter what... Then I searched a lot and went straight to a place where the costs were listed clearly ㅠㅠ
Of course, silicone, donated cartilage, and ear cartilage are all separate, but the prices were clearly stated, so it felt trustworthy, and there were lots of reviews ㅋㅋ I’m satisfied.
And please make sure to get sleep anesthesia.... I blinked once and my nose felt cold, so I said, “I’m still not asleep yet...” and then I heard ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ laughter... “The surgery is over”ㅋㅋ... for nothing.
This is how I looked less than an hour after surgery. The swelling is very slight?? No bruising at all ㅋㅋ I came to eat pork cutlet and took these photos.
They didn’t put cotton all the way inside my nasal cavity. They only lightly blocked the nosebleed with cotton balls. Because the incision is inside the nasal cavity, there are no stitches or surgical marks showing on the outside, so I think that part is really good.
I was really worried that my nose shape would collapse, but I think it’s okay.
The more I think about it, the more absurd that one plastic surgery clinic seems. They said it was scar tissue, but it was cartilage;
Everyone, if you’re thinking about removal too, I recommend doing it quickly. And I don’t think you necessarily have to get it removed at the clinic where you had the surgery. For removal, go somewhere experienced with clear pricing...
