Wow, how did you all get facial contouring done... I’m on day 4 now

Day 0 - It just hurt so damn much that I couldn’t say anything or do anything. I had it done together with my nose, so I could only breathe through my mouth, and because of the endotracheal intubation my throat kept hurting, I couldn’t even swallow water, I kept retching, got 4 shots of painkillers at the hospital, and spent the night with my eyes open. Of course I couldn’t eat anything, and whether I was sitting, lying down, or doing anything, it just hurt. For real, I’m the type who tolerates pain really well, but this was life-level pain where I thought, this is not it. Day 1 - My nose was blocked, so I still couldn’t breathe, and I tried to keep eating thin rice gruel steadily, but because of the swelling it kept dripping down under my chin. I still couldn’t talk, and the inside of my throat was completely dry and felt like it was cracking. My jaw trembled like crazy and it felt like my teeth were being pulled out. Day 2 - Once the nasal packing was removed, I seriously tasted a whole new world... I could taste food and had an appetite too, but because my lips were swollen, every kind of liquid still leaked downward. It just looked awful and gave me such a reality check. Day 3 - The pain decreased a lot. It was at least bearable, but living didn’t feel like living.

It’s day 4 now, and I’ve already used 7 boxes of Kleenex because I’m drooling so much. Is this right? Is it normal for lip swelling not to go down like this?
