5-Month Review After Hump Nose Surgery

After <after surgery> Before <before surgery> It’s been 5 months since I had my hump shaved down!!

There were overwhelmingly many opinions saying that a hump nose absolutely has to be treated with osteotomy, so I thought, ah... do I need osteotomy too? But when I actually had the consultation, the director said my nasal bones themselves weren’t extremely thick or wide, so shaving the hump and doing just the nasal bridge and nasal tip seemed like it would be enough haha... Actually, they said just shaving the hump and doing the nasal tip would already have a huge effect, and told me silicone was optional, but my hump was really severe and stressful, so I thought even slight unevenness after surgery would bother meㅠㅠ so I placed a thin layer of silicone!! The director who performed the surgery was very kind and respected my opinion, so from consultation to surgery, I was just totally comfortable haha! When I went around to several places for consultations, everyone said I needed osteotomy, but they honestly said I didn’t need it.... I still remember it clearly, and it made an impact, that they didn’t overcorrect and only recommended what was necessary

Once the swelling on my nasal bridge and glabella all went down, it became much slimmer than in the early stage after surgery, and the shape is so good.. I really love it haha I can say even now that it feels like my own nose, but they say a nose is the real final nose from 6 months onward, so I’ll hold out one more month~~ Now there’s no tingling pain, and it’s okay even when I touch the nasal tip~~ I’m wearing glasses comfortably without having to widen the nose pads. Nothing is pressed down or dented!! Still, just in case, I’m still cleaning inside my nose with cotton swabs and being super careful when blowing my nose lolololol
