Consultant: Kind and okay. No pressure to book the same day
Director: During the consultation, I could tell this person specializes in quick buried-suture double eyelid surgery and thought, ah, he isn’t good at incisional surgery He recommended quick buried-suture double eyelid surgery to me too The line he designed was also very low
Conclusion: The clinic atmosphere, the line he designed, and the surgical method did not suit me

Clinic: I was the only Korean there That small clinic was noisy all over with foreign languages that were hard to understand I heard a group of about 10 foreigners came together and had surgery Because of them, I felt neglected It felt like all the staff’s attention was focused only on handling foreign patients
Consultant: She was an older woman, kind of a madam-like style.. haha She kept whispering, saying she’d take good care of me I went in knowing people said the price changes every day depending on the consultant’s mood She asked what price range I was thinking, and when I didn’t answer, she first said 3 million won, then said since I had waited so long she’d do 2 million Suddenly cut 1 million won lol trust went down
Director: He came into the consultation right after surgery I had read reviews beforehand saying he smelled like cigarettes, so I was prepared, but even sitting in front of him I could smell cigarettes First place that didn’t design a line for me Didn’t touch my eyes Asked which clinics I had been to and talked about how those clinics were this and that It just felt like talking to a neighborhood middle-aged man He looked up other clinics online and talked about how they had newly built facilities and this and that I had consultations lined up afterward, but for the first time I thought it was a waste of time
About my eyes, as soon as I sat down he just said, “You’ll need incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction,” and that was it! The rest was about how it is when he does surgery, a bit of bragging about himself, and talk about foreign patients.. I just thought, wow.. how does this hospital even operate? I thought that.. After receiving this quality of consultation, the consultation fee was 10,000 won lol Give me back my money,, my time,, ㅠㅠ

Wait: Since it was a morning appointment, I waited about 10 minutes and went straight into consultation with the consultant
Consultant: I had booked with Director ㅇㅎㅈ, but they said if I wanted this director, I had to come in the morning, so I deliberately took a 1.5-hour bus ride to consult with Director ㅇㅎㅈ, but when I got there, the consultant said: the director will be unavailable for the time being, we’ll help you with someone else So I said, it would have been nice if you had told me this in advance.. Then she gaslit (?) me, saying it was because I had designated Director ㅇㅎㅈ belatedly, but after the consultation I checked KakaoTalk and it had been exactly one week before I thought they could have told me this kind of thing in advance

Director ㅇㅁㅊ designed the line maybe about 20 times He pointed out parts other clinics hadn’t caught, and he was somewhere between kind and blunt
When I looked at the line he designed, it was bent, L-shaped, or drooping/creased in the front, so I asked what would be done about that. He said he’s not a robot, so he can’t correct every single thing like that.. what ??????? Then how do other hospitals do it ㅠㅠ I’m not sure whether to call this honest or lacking skill.. Anyway.. I got the feeling that he lacked confidence in his surgical skill and couldn’t do it well
Conclusion: It was genuinely among my final candidates, but because of the consultant’s handling of things + the director’s consultation + the director’s review photos, it didn’t quite match what I wanted, so I decided to eliminate it

Director: He had surgery scheduled after my consultation, so it felt somewhat rushed, but he examined me carefully He was going to recommend non-incisional surgery, but said it wouldn’t work and that I’d need incisional surgery He sat close and looked carefully at the line, and his explanation was kind
