I stopped by after a while and thought I’d write a review before leaving haha It had been a long time since I logged in, and a few people sent me messages asking about my progress, so I’m sharing and leaving this simple review:)
I had surgery at Yejin, a private nose-specialty clinic in Apgujeong. I had surgery in November, so it has now been 4 months! In my case, I had a crooked bulbous nose, so when I went for consultations, every clinic told me it wasn’t an easy nose and belonged to the difficult category.. So even after consultations, I couldn’t make up my mind right away and I think my feelings kept wavering...
->Surgical method, swelling, bruising Crooked nose correction (slight osteotomy, 2 mm silicone) + bulbous nose correction (fat removal, nasal tip refinement, ear cartilage) + nostril base reduction (internal incision) I had surgery at Yejin using the methods above, and I think the bruising lasted 2 weeks and the major swelling lasted a little over 1 month. The throbbing in my ear and the numb/heavy feeling at the nasal tip were okay after one month.
->Surgical effect satisfaction As for the surgical effect, maybe because I had osteotomy, fat removal, nasal tip refinement, and nostril base reduction using combined methods, I felt the change right away as soon as the splint came off.
Unlike other people, after surgery my nasal tip didn’t look dramatically lifted like a pig nose, and I didn’t have a hard time because the swelling didn’t go down for a long time. Maybe because I consistently received swelling laser treatments at the clinic, my recovery wasn’t on the slow side!
Right now there is a scar around the columella area at the nasal tip, but it can be covered with makeup, and since I wear a mask, I don’t care about it at all. And the area where they took the ear cartilage is not visible to my eyes no matter how hard I try to reflect it in the mirror lol Maybe it’s because they incised the folded area behind the ear~ The nostril base was also an internal incision, so the scar doesn’t show. For those who can do an internal incision, definitely! choose internal incision instead of external incision.
I think I chose the clinic based on things like it being a private clinic without pay doctors or shadow doctors, the director’s consultation style, aftercare, CCTV, and so on. For those preparing for rhinoplasty, I hope you look for clinics based on your own standards rather than other people’s opinions:)
