Busan medial epicanthoplasty + alar reduction consultation review

I missed the chance to have surgery after the CSAT back then and just left it alone, but as I got older, wrinkles started extending from the Mongolian fold area at the inner corners of my eyes, so I rushed around getting consultations for medial epicanthoplasty ㅠㅠ I thought just doing medial epicanthoplasty would make my nose look bigger, so I also got consulted about alar reduction. My eyes look a bit sleepy and I have weak eye-opening strength, so I focused my consultation on that. The clinics I went to were Seomyeon Dㅍㅇㅅ, Nㅇ, Yㄷㅈ, and Centum Nㅂㄹㅅㅎㅇㅅ

First, Dㅍㅇㅅ The consultation was with the director’s assistant, and honestly I don’t remember it well.. Later, one of the doctors came and saw me, but it felt very rushed? They only looked at the absolute basics and didn’t say a single word about their own opinion.. The price was 600,000 won for alar reduction and 700,000 won for medial epicanthoplasty, and the consultation gave the impression that they were talking about a very simple procedure. They seemed confident in their skill, but the consultation was so careless ㅠ so regardless of whether they were skilled or not, I didn’t think they could produce the design I wanted, so I passed

Nㅇ This place.. seemed to have the director’s idea of an ‘ideal’ set of facial features. It was the only place that said I needed a silicone nasal bridge plus auricular cartilage for the tip.. They also recommended eye-opening correction. The attitude during the consultation was not great.. It felt like they had a fixed ideal beauty standard in mind and designed everyone to fit that. The cost was 700,000 won for alar reduction, and 3.75 million won if I also did the nose surgery with an implant Medial epicanthoplasty 500,000 won, eye-opening correction 700,000 won

Yㄷㅈ I had visited this place before a long, long time ago, right after the CSAT, when I was shopping around for consultations. Even back then, I went because of word of mouth, and unlike other places, they analyzed and explained the skeletal structure around my eyes in detail. As expected, this time too they were extremely detailed.. They explained the surgery procedure like a lecture, pointing out each muscle one by one, so the consultation was the best. But when explaining the surgical method, they said other general doctors do it like this~ and mentioned two incorrect surgical methods, then said they do it this way and explained the method they developed themselves.. They even showed me papers. It felt like they were going down a path others don’t take.. but as a doctor, not an artist, from a consumer’s point of view, the more commonly used surgical methods feel more trustworthy. Here they said that because my upper eyelids have no fat, the area under the brows is sunken, so the skin gets pulled up and that makes the double eyelids thicker. So when doing eye-opening correction, they said to do fat grafting to the eyes as well. It was the first time I’d heard that, so I was a bit surprised.. but I’m still somewhat unsure. They said medial epicanthoplasty is a procedure called magic medial epicanthoplasty, where the incision follows the eye shape, so even if a scar remains, it won’t be noticeable. They also said alar reduction leaves some scar along the alar line. The cost was 2.1 million won for eye-opening correction + fat grafting + medial epicanthoplasty, and 880,000 won for the nose

Nㅂㄹㅅㅎㅇㅅ This was the only place where, even though I called about 5 days before the consultation, the schedule was already full. So I had the consultation on a different day from when I visited the other clinics. The director’s assistant came and consulted with me, and said fat grafting is a surgery that carries side effects, so they don’t recommend risky things like that. They said eye-opening correction and medial epicanthoplasty would probably be enough. Later the director came in.. and gave a very authoritarian impression. Even the assistant sat behind them with both hands clasped together in a very respectful way, and it felt extremely formal. They lightly traced the line on my eye as they glanced at it, and they seemed really good at drawing the line.. And they said medial epicanthoplasty inevitably leaves a scar…. Well, to be honest, the director was there for maybe only 1-2 minutes, so I don’t really rememberㅋㅋㅋㅋ The assistant did almost all of the consultation.. They seemed very proud of the director’s surgical skill. They said medial epicanthoplasty takes 10 minutes, and alar reduction 20 minutes.. It seemed like they were saying their hand technique was that excellent It was the most expensive: eye-opening correction + medial epicanthoplasty + double eyelid, 2.75 million won Alar reduction was 1.2 million won

That’s the end of the clinics I visited, and I did make my reservation at Yㄷㅈ.. but there don’t seem to be many reviews about alar reduction, so I’m hesitant, and the fat grafting is the same ㅠㅠ If anyone has a review, please leave one
