My eyes came undone, and everyone kept saying I looked sleepy and asking if I was tired. Even after surgery, I was barely getting by using double-eyelid liquid and double-eyelid tape. My eyes also seemed to look even sleepier and more droopy, so I had revision eye surgery with an incisional method and redid the ptosis correction too. After the surgery, I have not once been told that I look sleepy, and I’m often told that my eyes look bright and alert. I was worried that doing it with an incision would make me lose the natural look I wanted before surgery, but maybe because the surgery was done well, there is no unnatural look or scarring at all, so I really feel like getting revision surgery was the right choice.
