Review of Revision Eye Surgery

Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> This is a 3-week review after my 4th revision double-eyelid surgery. A long time ago, I was first advised to get double-eyelid surgery, so I had it without much thought, but for a man’s eyes, the double eyelids ended up too thick and sausage-like. I had two more surgeries at the same hospital as after-service revisions, so in total I had 3 surgeries there. The doctor at the previous hospital confidently said it could be improved, so I trusted them and had revision surgery two more times, but the scarring got worse and the thickness did not noticeably decrease. I was trying to give up and live with it, but I usually had to put a lot of force into my eyes when opening them, and I felt so uncomfortable that I very carefully searched for hospitals, had consultations at more than 10 places, and decided on my 4th surgery. While going around for consultations, I saw many doctors who gave thorough consultations and many who handled them roughly, but among them, I decided to have surgery with the doctor who treated patients in the most humane and respectful way. Most of all, because this was my 4th revision surgery, they first explained the possible side effects, the parts that might be impossible, and the parts that could definitely be improved, so I felt I could trust them. It has now been a little over 3 weeks, and so far the swelling has gone down quickly, the line seems to have been set thinly, and more than anything, after ptosis correction, I have gained strength to open my eyes, so I can open them comfortably and feel that my eyes are comfortable. So far I am satisfied, and there is still a little bruising left on my left eye, so I am watching it. It has been a little over 3 weeks, and when I open my eyes, they seem more natural than before surgery. I had the surgery with Director Park Jong-cheol at Glovi.
