My first surgery was done with the non-incisional buried suture method, and the canthoplasty was fine, but the double-eyelid line came undone, so I ended up getting revision surgery... I had been told, “For revision surgery, incision is definitely the only answer!” so I looked for a place that pays close attention to scarring and went for a consultation. But the doctor said that even if it’s revision surgery, it doesn’t always have to be incisional, and with the current condition of my eyes, the buried suture method would probably be okay too.. Still, they said that even if we proceed with an incision, they would do it well so it wouldn’t leave a noticeable scar.
