They told me again right before surgery exactly what I had been told during the consultation, then designed it and did the surgery. When we were designing it, I was really excited, but honestly from right before the surgery I was so nervous The nurses..? helped ease my nerves, so I felt a bit more at ease, and then the surgery was over. After waking up from anesthesia, all I could think was that I wanted to go home quickly.. Having the splint on was uncomfortable and hard, but it wasn’t to the point that I was in unbearable pain. Every time I went to the hospital to remove stitches or the splint, they took good care of me, which was really nice. Once the swelling went down, I really liked it, and I felt like I should have done it much earlier.
