I got it done in my first year of high school, so it’s been over 10 years now. It was so long ago that I don’t have photos or anything. I had ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty with a full incision. It was done under local anesthesia, and they set the line while I opened and closed my eyes. The anesthesia injection for the epicanthoplasty hurt the most, and the rest was bearable. Near the end of the surgery, the anesthesia had worn off enough that I could feel the sensation of the skin being cut lol The problem is that the friend who got it done with me had it come undone twice and had revision surgery... Even so, it came undone again, so now she just lives with it. I learned that even with a full incision, it can come undone.
