After surgery no. 1 Nos. 2 and 3 inflammation No. 4 around immediately after surgery No. 5 current photo deleted just in case ㅠㅠ My nose did get lower than in no. 4 Nos. 6-8 are what came up like hives because the antibiotics didn’t agree with me while I was receiving them
After nose surgery in 2009, I lived satisfied with it. The shape was so pretty that a plastic surgery professor at a university hospital told me it was a perfect nose.
But around 2014, I was told by a plastic surgery professor that my skin had thinned and the nasal implant looked like it might protrude, so I had the silicone removed at a university hospital and replaced with a lower one.
While removing it, an infection developed (MRSA), so a few days later they immediately opened my nose and went in to irrigate it.
In the operating room, they said a lot of cartilage had melted too, so I was scared my nose would melt away and disappear ㅠㅠ
Even so, I couldn’t give up on not removing the silicone completely, so I didn’t take it out, and for close to 3-5 months I got vancomycin injections at the infectious disease department and took antibiotics. (I think I was treated for nearly 6 months.) While getting antibiotics, I even had anaphylaxis, struggled a lot, changed medications, and it was such a mess.
Then my white blood cell count dropped, so I was hospitalized for 4 days...
I’m living satisfied now, but I still have lingering feelings about my nose and look at reviews, but I’m too scared my nose might rot away and disappear, so I can’t do it ㅠㅠ I guess plastic surgery is addictive...ㅠㅠ
