This is a review I’m writing right after getting a revision surgery yesterday. The surgery was double eyelids + ptosis correction + canthoplasty on the outer and lower corners. They injected anesthesia in several places, but when they numbed the inner corner of my eyes, it hurt incredibly badlyㅠㅜ I regretted doing this for a second there. Then after a while, when they were burning around the upper part of the eyes to support it, there was a strong smell of burnt flesh, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget that smell.. Finally, they gave anesthesia one more time when doing the outer and lower canthoplasty, and that hurt again.. During surgery, the anesthesia seems to hurt the most.. The surgery ended safely, and when I opened my eyes, it felt like they were pulling both up and down, so it felt really awkward.. Even though it was a revision surgery, it didn’t feel familiar at all, just kind of strange.. More than anything, my right eye is very swollen and I’ve developed astigmatism and double vision, and I’m so scared whether this will get better. It’s only been one day, so I’ll wait, but I’m really worried that the astigmatism got worse.
