Double eyelid surgery 1st time - from the moment it was done, the swelling in both eyes was very different.. One side had gone down a lot by the time the stitches were removed / the other side still covered about half of my iris..
2nd time - But when they were removing the stitches? or when I went for disinfection? (I don’t remember exactly) they looked and said one side’s height didn’t match, so I needed revision surgery... They said only one side needed to be done and it would take 15 minutes, so I just went ahead. It took over 40 minutes ^*^.. They really tied it, told me to open my eyes, then redid it, over and over...
3rd time - When I went back again, they said the side they had operated on had loosened, so it needed to be done again... Ha.. On top of that, this time they said something like if the swelling on the two sides is too different, blah blah~ and redid even the normal eye together..
After that it was just so-so.. I live thinking, people’s eyes can’t be perfectly symmetrical anyway~ but the eye that got messed with 3 times back then still isn’t really to my liking...
It became the reason I decided not to take surgery lightly, even if it’s considered an easy one~
