Before Before It has been 6 months since I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery. Even at 1 month and 3 months, there wasn’t much swelling, so there hasn’t been a dramatic change, but somehow now it feels like it has settled into place. There are almost no stitch marks either.
I went around to 5-6 clinics, and almost most of them recommended ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty together with natural adhesion, but I really didn’t want to add extra procedures, so I only did natural adhesion.
Now that 6 months have passed and it has settled, I kind of understand why they recommended epicanthoplasty. On the side where the Mongolian fold is a bit strong, the front part of the line gets slightly swallowed, so it does become like an inline crease (I had the surgery as an in-out line).
It is a little disappointing that the line gets swallowed, but if I had gone as far as doing a canthoplasty, I don’t think it would have had the natural look I wanted, so I don’t really regret it.
I’m very satisfied because my eyes now look like I naturally developed double eyelids!
There are bare-eye photos before surgery if you look at my posts.
