Before <the pre-op photo is so pixelated> <about five years later, one side came undone> I was wondering what I could scrape together for leveling up in a community, and then I remembered that I also had buried-suture double eyelid surgery at Beauty Line about ten years ago. Rather than saying I researched really hard, there was a line I was drawn to, the price was cheap, and at the time they were also running an off-season discount (new school term). I only consulted with the manager, and they said they would give an additional discount if I booked the same day, so I put down a deposit. Then on the day of surgery I met the doctor, and right before going into the operating room, he recommended an upper epicanthoplasty because of my Mongolian folds, so I was like uh, ah, yes, yes, and paid and had the surgery. But when I was talking with the manager in the consultation room, she said they would measure everything with a ruler, draw out all the surgical areas mathematically, check the symmetry, and then operate. But until the surgery was over, not a single line was drawn on my face lol Ah, that was when I learned that consultation and surgery are different things. After the upper epicanthoplasty, a lot of dust started getting into my eyes and I got large eye discharge, so it was scary, but I didn’t really think of it as a major side effect. Other than that, there was no pain, nothing that bothered me, and after getting double eyelid surgery, for the first time in my life someone asked me for my number lol I wonder if that same director is still there. Somehow the post-op review eyes look similar to mine.
