Before before after after after As I got older, my natural double eyelid height kept looking more and more greasy,
and one side looked especially droopy and had weak opening strength, so I decided to get surgery.
I'm the one who looks in the mirror every day, so I thought shouldn't I be the one who's satisfied?
During the consultation, I told the doctor that since I'd lived with natural double eyelids until now, I wanted to live with less-greasy inner double eyelids.
I knew myself that making my current eyes into monolids would be difficult, so I asked as much as possible
for inner double eyelids where the double-eyelid line becomes visible toward the outer end.
I think the doctor did exactly what I requested.
My skin is very thin, so there was a lot of bleeding during surgery,
and I thought the surgical swelling and bruising would last a long time, but after the stitches were removed, from one week later
it got so much better. (When I went to get the stitches removed, the doctor was worried because the bruising was on the severe side.)
I didn't tell my parents, and my goal is for it to look natural when I go for the September holiday.
As of day 17, the biggest issue around the surgical area is that before surgery, I kept taking hospital medication because of a stye, you know?
To be precise, it got better just enough for surgery right at the time of surgery,
and after surgery, even though I didn't get canthoplasty, I had conjunctival edema,
plus a stye above the eye that refused to go away and came back, along with conjunctivitis, making it bulge,
so this double combo has been making things so hard for me. You can see one side is more bulging, right?
Thankfully, the ophthalmology medication is working well, so it's stabilizing
What a huge relief, right?
I don't know how it looks, but I hope it gets prettier by late September and late October~
