I got it done for a slightly lower price through a recommendation from an acquaintance at my old workplace. It was a surgery I had always wanted, and at that time I didn’t look at YouTube or any community posts before going in for the surgery.
My cheekbones were reduced a lot, but overall my face looks longer, and it definitely sagged. But I think that’s even more the case because my face already had a lot of cheek fat and lacked elasticityㅜ. These days, cheekbone surgery seems to have added more techniques here and there, and I saw posts saying that if you have a lot of cheek fat above the mouth and beside the nose when having surgery, it’s good to do liposuction together. Elsewhere, I also saw a surgical method saying that when doing the lateral cheekbone, fixing it toward the upper front cheekbone can improve the result a bit better.
If I had known these things, I would have paid one or two million won more and done it at another hospital. I’m regretting it.
Also, when I run, there’s a clicking sound from the cartilage area in front of my ear. When I asked about this, they said there was no problem on the X-ray, and that they didn’t know why it was happening. For reference, the consultant who counseled me was freaking rude.. If I mention complaints like this, she gives me a dirty look lol
