Before the procedure: I visited 3 years ago for my first InMode treatment. There was a 50,000 won reservation deposit. At the time, I had suddenly gained weight because of COVID, and because of baby fat my face felt too round, so rather than lifting, I received the treatment focusing on improving my facial contour. At the time, I saw an event for around 90,000 won on apps like BBT and went in, but they said that was the price for one area, so in the end I paid about 189,000 won. As a student, the price suddenly felt burdensome, but MODE was famous for InMode, so I made up my mind and got the procedure.
During the procedure: The aesthetician came in and did the pre-care (Forma), and since FX is a procedure that depends on the doctor’s hands, a female doctor came in and took care of it. She kept talking to me during the procedure, and I think it was probably to distract me from the pain for a moment. It was a procedure at Inari Dermatology, and it was so hot that my face felt like it was being burned. But I had heard that the hotter and longer the procedure time, the better the effect, so I endured it. For areas with a lot of fat, it felt like she pinched them with her hand and then treated them by searing them with the machine. I didn’t check the exact procedure time, but I think it was about 20 minutes. (+ I just called and asked, and they said the time shown on the InMode FX full-face machine is 12 minutes. I guess it only felt like 20 minutes^^.. It was seriously so hot that I wondered if this is what hell would feel like hahaha)
After the procedure review: Maybe because I only did it once as a one-off due to cost issues, it didn’t help much… It was the kind of effect only I could barely notice. So I thought maybe InMode didn’t suit me, but when I saw an acquaintance with the same concern as me get InMode 3 times at another clinic and see a noticeably visible effect, I realized that treatment time is important, but you need at least 3 sessions for it to work… I’m going to save up money and do 3 or more sessions now.
