A full three-part facial contouring surgery was scary, and the other areas were not as much of a complex for me as my cheekbones, so I only did one area. That’s how much I really, really hated my cheekbones... So in middle school, I even deliberately wore thick horn-rimmed glasses so I could cover my cheekbones haha;; When I wore contacts, my bare face showed, so my cheekbones stood out, and when I wore makeup it was always “cheekbone-cover makeup” and “cheekbone-cover hairstyling,” but no matter what I did, it all showed in photos... So every single time I took photo booth pictures or other photos, I would first push in my cheekbones with editing!! Now I feel so happy because I don’t think I’ll have to do that anymore
After looking around and searching here and there, I found that the cheekbone surgery results at 345 matched the aesthetic I wanted, so I think that’s what drew me in. I wanted something natural but with a clearly noticeable effect. Both the consultant in charge and the two directors were kind, and they explained everything one by one in detail and in a way that was easy to understand, which I liked.
From day 1 to days 4-5 after surgery, it’s hard You’re wrapped in bandages, can’t wash your face, can’t wash your hair, so when I saw my huge face all swollen like Anpanman from the swelling, I had a reality check and thought, I should’ve just lived with the face I had.. Still, thankfully, I got through it by gargling, drinking soy milk, drinking pumpkin juice, and doing cold compresses + warm compresses!! From the one-week mark, after getting the stitches removed, disinfected, washing my hair, and being able to wash my face, it gradually got better. My face, which had been insanely swollen, lost some of the major swelling and became more of a plump face. Still, there is some minor swelling left.
After surgery, when I touched my cheekbones, it felt so fascinating because I could really feel that they had gone inward. From the first day of surgery for a few days, the pain was throbbing and tingling enough to bother me a bit, but it eased before even a week had passed, so it was okay. Also, I wear glasses, and every day I show my parents and my boyfriend what I look like without glasses and ask, “How is it? Do my cheekbones look a bit more inward?” Every time, both my parents and boyfriend say, as if amazed, that the cheekbones that used to protrude sharply have become gently rounded. + Another person also said my impression changed from sharp to gentle! + And as I wrote above, I’m also so, so excited, to the point that I want to hurry up, put on makeup, and take photos. Once all the swelling goes down, I think my satisfaction will be the highest haha
Now at week 2, I’ve had the stitches inside my mouth removed, received one swelling laser treatment, eaten porridge, and I’m doing well while brushing my teeth gently. I’m wearing the facial compression band very diligently!!
