After after after before before before It’s still early since I had revision rhinoplasty, so I’m still recovering. My nose condition was such a mess that even after surgery I need frequent in-clinic treatment, so these days I’m still going to the hospital regularly to check my progress and get treatment. At week 2, I had the stitches inside my nose removed and the autologous costal cartilage stitches removed together. Inside the nose, it was just slightly stinging, and the autologous costal cartilage area didn’t hurt. I think the swelling has gone down a bit compared to the beginning, but from the front I still look like I have a bulbous nose I wish the frontal swelling would go down quickly too I like the side profile.
The director said the swelling might last a bit longer too. It may also look more swollen because of the silicone retainer in my nostrils... The area near the nostril where I received a skin graft hasn’t fully healed yet, so I think I’ll need to allow another month or two for recovery.
The right nostril was definitely asymmetric and narrow, so breathing had been uncomfortable, but breathing has become completely comfortable, so I’m really satisfied. They also corrected my crooked nose to make it symmetrical. I had revision rhinoplasty at ㅇㅊㅂ, and maybe because it’s a hospital specializing in revision rhinoplasty, they handled a severe nose surgery well too, and I like the result.
This is a surgical review pursuing reconstruction.
