Before/after/after I wouldn’t really say I had natural double eyelids, and one eye also had overlapping creases, so I kept thinking I’d get double eyelid surgery someday, and finally had it done this time. There were surprisingly not many people around me who had succeeded with double eyelid surgery in one go, so I was really worried (I even had uneven eyes too..) Maybe because I looked into it pretty thoroughly before getting surgery, I think it turned out well, so I’m posting a review!
I decided on double eyelid surgery because I wanted to improve my uneven eyes and fix the eye with overlapping creases, but since I was getting surgery anyway, I also wanted to have my eyes done in the style I wanted. The double eyelid line came out just how I wanted, not too thin, but as an in-out line with some thickness. Honestly, since it was my first surgery, and no matter how much I researched, it was hard to put the exact look I wanted into words. But among the places I visited for consultations, here, during the consultation, when I showed photos of the eyes I wanted, the director seemed to understand what kind of look I wanted and said that to achieve this, I would probably need canthoplasty as well. After having the surgery, even though the swelling lasted a little longer, I really think I’m glad I also got the lateral and lower canthoplasty that the director recommended.
Oh, and they said I could also do under-eye fat repositioning when doing the canthoplasty, so I thought, let’s completely retune my eyes, and I had double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty, and under-eye fat repositioning. I’m satisfied with that part too. In my opinion, if you’re going to get eye surgery, it’s really good to choose a hospital that specializes in eyes like this and is also good at other eye-area surgeries besides double eyelid surgery!! They can really catch the exact look I want, and you can also find out what other additional procedures may be needed,, Before double eyelid surgery I had so many worries, but now I’m really satisfied..
